The absolute paradox about being human is that we are spiritual entities in earthly forms. As consciousness evolves, those who can see become increasingly more involved with form and the earthy element as extensions of Life in Action. The urge for matter then becomes synonymous with finding the right earthly Path for the externalization of the Soul. Thus earth becomes truly valued, respected, and treasured and never abused, violated, or corrupted. As the airy element of the Aquarian Age continues to evolve as the primary vehicle for human evolution, people are gradually coming into contact with those ideals, visions, and humanitarian concepts that seek to make the right use of earth and the Earth their primary orientation. As the bitter failure of the 2009 Copenhagen conference on world climate has shown, an enlightened orientation to the Earth and our material life is still very much in the minority—but eventually these old and selfish paradigms will give way to the unfolding orientation of Unity on our planet. If not, there will be no Earth to unfold anything upon.
